LilMarauder.com Website Redesign

Beginning in January 2022, Alma began a complete redesign of LilMarauder.com with a focus on being completely responsive, lightweight, and easy to maintain.

The first step of the updates were a reinvisioned logo and branding. The existing fractured round logo was retained in part, the portion that remains is meant to look shell-like. Adding the path and handle points (as would be seen in vector design programs) is a nod to the many benefits that come with simplicity, including scalability. This is reflective of one of Alma’s philosophies that easy and simple are not sononomous, and that simple is the ideal.

Chad and Jeremy Tour Poster

Chad and Jeremy Tour 2016

In March and April 2016, Alma completed a poster which included all of the dates for the Chad and Jeremy tour. She used skills she had developed from her recent Adobe Education Exchange course on InDesign CC.

In the design, many graphical elements were re-worked. The logotype for the group was made in to a more rectangular shape using Illustrator. Several photos were reviewed and adjusted in Photoshop and elements which were adjusted for this poster are going to be incorporated in upcoming marketing materials.

Equipment Loan Program Website Updates

Alma and a colleague reviewed and updated the online list of items available through Loyola’s Equipment Loan Program. Alma spearheaded the visual changes, avoiding the square pictures previously used on the website and in management proposed redesigns. The final design features equipment photos in an extreme landscape aspect to facilitate a more equal visual presence for all types of equipment items.

In tandem with this visual shift, all of the content was updated and reorganized, the new organization being heavily based on the Equipment Loan Binder which was finalized two months previous. This reorganization reduced the number of menu items from 24 to 19 future-proof categories.

The website is based on the T4 content management system.
