The 1977 Society is comprised of an elite group of those who recognize the importance of supporting Golden Key’s mission of creating scholarship and leadership opportunities for our members.
One of the immediate impacts of the 1977 Society is the launch of SPARK a Change, Golden Key’s global service initiative with the goal of dedicating 400,000 service hours by 2017 to impact and improve the lives of at-risk youth through literacy, education and real-world preparedness.
-10-101The Cleveland State University Student Ambassadors group was operated by the Department of Admissions. The students who were selected for the group were Sophomores through Seniors, generally involved in other extra-curriculars and a rigorous course of study. In Alma’s Junior year she was elected Secretary of the Organization. In her Senior year she was elected PR Officer.
As Ambassadors, the students were invited to many events that were run by Admissions, the President’s Office and University Advancement. They provided organizational support at those events and mingled with guests and alumni of the University.
-10-101Game Day Staff, Luxury Seating: Prep Crew (July 2004-August 2005)
During the 2004 and 2005 baseball seasons, Alma inspected the Luxury Seating fan areas and suites for maintenance, custodial, and supply issues before the start of each home game. She notified various departments of any action required in suites and restocked complimentary newspapers and magazines. In the 2005 season, Alma delivered complimentary promotional items to the suites during game time.
