LifeAdvantages is an agile technology company which delivers a broad spectrum of services and content to mid-size Employee Assistance Programs across the United States and internationally.
In her role as Storyteller, Alma acts as lead eLearning developer, occasional multimedia designer, and lead admin for the learning management system. Her duties frequently span development, operations, and content creation teams.
Over the course of her years in this position, Alma has completed a wide variety of projects, including:
- Updating outdated course content to meet current Instructional Design standards
- Increasing the number of securely credentialed trainings
- Development of customizable MeToo-informed Sexual Harassment compliance trainings
- Increasing user engagement through course interactivity: assessments, animated scenarios, paced activities
- Assisting in the expansion of an eight-module curricula designed to increase resilience among college and university students
- Development of workflows to efficiently produce accessible video-based courses
- Regularly reviewing usage data and gathering insights from current usage patterns
- Reviewing current text-based resources and increasing their ability to used in environmentally friendly ways (fillable PDFs, interactive forms, compatibility with various digital notetaking apps/programs)
- Enhancing multi-media assets (images, video, audio) for use within eLearning projects
