LilMarauder.com Website Redesign

Beginning in January 2022, Alma began a complete redesign of LilMarauder.com with a focus on being completely responsive, lightweight, and easy to maintain.

The first step of the updates were a reinvisioned logo and branding. The existing fractured round logo was retained in part, the portion that remains is meant to look shell-like. Adding the path and handle points (as would be seen in vector design programs) is a nod to the many benefits that come with simplicity, including scalability. This is reflective of one of Alma’s philosophies that easy and simple are not sononomous, and that simple is the ideal.

Sexual Harassment Training Development

In early 2018, Alma worked to develop a comprehensive and engaging Sexual Harassment training. This training was informed by the high profile sexual harassment cases which flooded the public consiousness. It is hoped that this training helps to empower individuals to create and support respectful workplace cultures, and puts in to practice the lessons gleaned from what felt like an endless list of allegations.

Approaching this training in a modular way allows Alma to continually customize the and update content to meet clients’ needs. These updates happen on an annual basis, and as needed.

Branched Learning Development

In order to increase her familiarity with creating branched learning activities in Articulate Storyline, Alma developed an activity modeled of the Choose Your Own Adventure books she enjoyed as a child. Starting off with familiar story allowed Alma to flesh out alternative storylines, increase the amount of user selected details that would impact the story experience.

Alma has used the skills she built through designing this activity in numerous future projects.

You can enjoy the Choose Your Own Adventure activity Alma developed here (the link will open in a new tab/window).

All Good Things: The Unheard Chad and Jeremy

In advance of the Chad and Jeremy Fall 2016 tour (their final full-length North American tour), the artists requested the  compilation an anthology on three CDs and forty-page photo book. Alma reviewed over fifty years of photos in cooperation with noted rock photographer, Gered Mankowitz, artists’ management, family and friends. Alma prepared the complete chronological layout for the book, covers and loose art card for a package featuring over 300 unseen photos.

When designing the visual elements for the CDs, Alma decided to dovetail with the rough era of the songs on each disc: the sixties being represented by the classic look of Ember Records, the eighties by Rocshire Records and the present by the style of their current record label, Electric Paintbox.
This Anthology is limited to 300 copies, Alma’s personal copy may be requested for review at in-person meetings.

All Good Things: Complete Track Listing

This final video which preceded the release of All Good Things includes the full track listing for the three CD set. Of the 76 tracks, only six were previously heard, and even then those were heard on TV appearances, and radio commercials.

The video also features the disc art, which Alma designed to be reminiscent of what labels Chad and Jeremy were signed to during the eras present on each disc.
